Into the Highlands

Into the Highlands Distance: ~120 km Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

After a light morning meal, we hit the road with a few scenic stops before reaching A Boong waterfalls. The perfect chance to swim or simply relax in nature. Lunch is a big Vietnamese family-style spread in Thai An, enjoyed with mountain views all around.

In the afternoon, we continue through winding roads until we reach Du Gia, our homestay for the night. Bags dropped, it’s time for another highlight: Du Gia waterfall, where you can swim or even try a little cliff jumping. Dinner is a cozy home-cooked meal shared with the family, plus optional shots of β€œhappy water” to close the day.

Rivers & Skywalks

Rivers & Skywalks Distance: ~130 km Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

The day begins with a fresh breakfast in Du Gia, followed by a special experience at the Ngoc Long River: bamboo rafting. You’ll paddle upstream, explore a hidden cave, then float back downstream, or swim if you feel adventurous. After lunch in Sung Trai, we ride into the landscapes Ha Giang is famous for, with curving roads leading us to Ma Pi Leng Pass and Tu San Canyon

From here, we hike about an hour through cornfields to reach the Skywalk, a breathtaking 360Β° viewpoint high above the valley. After the descent, we continue to Dong Van, where hot showers and another hearty dinner round out the day.

The Snake Road

The Snake Road Distance: ~160 km Breakfast + Lunch

The final day begins with breakfast at the homestay before riding through Dong Van Geopark, home to some of the most striking views of the entire loop. This is a day for your camera: the landscapes are unforgettable.

We stop in Yen Minh for lunch before tackling the iconic Tham Ma Pass, also known as β€œThe Snake Road.” The journey ends at the Twin Fairy Mountains, where a short walk brings us to a panoramic viewpoint over the twin peaks and the village below.

By late afternoon (around 5pm), we’re back in Ha Giang, with time to rest, shower, and catch your onward bus in the evening.
